Position Overview
The successful candidate will:
Design and deliver integrated instruction in Language Arts, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and Human Health, including comprehensive human sexuality education.
Blend state content standards with responsive SEL objectives, rooted in trauma-informed, equity-centered practices.
Teach in alternative learning environments such as the Heartwise Studio, which promotes creativity, care, and student agency.
Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team and contribute to a shared culture of growth, inclusion, and community learning.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Holds a valid Oregon teaching license with a high school endorsement (Language Arts preferred).
Has demonstrated experience teaching Language Arts in alternative or nontraditional settings.
Is comfortable and competent teaching comprehensive human sexuality and related health standards.
Brings experience or training in SEL frameworks, trauma-informed practice, and/or restorative approaches.
Communicates effectively with students, families, and colleagues and embodies values aligned with NCS’s mission and community.

Network Charter School in Eugene, Oregon, is seeking a passionate and experienced culinary professional to lead our Culinary Arts Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. This 0.8 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) position, at a salary expectation of $45,654, offers a unique opportunity to educate and inspire students in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment.

Position Overview:
As the Culinary Arts CTE Instructor, you will:
Deliver engaging culinary instruction aligned with Oregon's CTE standards.
Oversee daily operations of a student-run kitchen providing breakfast and lunch to all students and staff.
Maintain compliance with USDA and Food for Lane County partnership agreements.
Collaborate with Lane ESD to maintain CTE program agreements and expectations and manage program-specific reporting and documentation as required by the Oregon Department of Education.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Minimum of 2,000 hours of verified industry experience in culinary arts.
CTE licensure in Culinary Arts preferred.
If not currently licensed, willingness to pursue and obtain appropriate CTE certification through a TSPC-approved program.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
