First Place Family Center is a refuge and place of support for children and their families who are low income, at risk of losing their housing or are already in transition between homes due to job loss, health issues and other critical problems.

Emergency shelter, family reconciliation, wraparound supports, and 24-hour help hotline are provided for runaway and homeless youth, ages 11-17. Project Safe Place offers youth safe locations to go when they feel afraid or have run away from home. Our Rural Program offers basic needs, case management, shelter, education, counseling, and other services to youth, ages 11-17, who live in rural areas of South Lane County.

Transitional and independent living services are provided for homeless youth, ages 16-21. The drop-in center offers youth food, clothing, showers, and other basic needs such as internet and job search materials. Street outreach offers homeless youth information and referrals, advocacy, and support. Counseling services are also available.
